This small success with getting the Task force formed and I do mean small success, because now the hard work begins of making Tthe Task Force a success for our children's needs and not the Politicians. In advocating these last four years I have done many interviews with Samantha both news and media. These  interviews have been a great success getting us the coverage we need however please get the facts straight.  The last few days I have read an AP release that keeps stating Samantha has been cured?  Cured?  Umm no I don't think so. There is no cure.  dyslexic today...dyslexic tomorrow dyslexic 10 years from now.  Sam has learned to read and adapt herself in different areas of her everyday life but cured nope. Dyslexia is a neurological memory based disability.  It can be slight or on as in my daughters case severe.  Sam is not ashamed she is dyslexic she is proud of who she is. So stand tall and hold your head high.  And to the media please get the facts straight.....
