Hello everyone, please take a moment to read about the petition and decide whether or not you would like to sign. Although, I am NOT in favor of higher property taxes. I feel that until
a plan can be developed that will not harm our children, we are forced to stop the budget cuts. Special Education cuts are coming in 2011.
One idea is to form a citizen task force in each district of concerned stakeholders and use the OPRA act to analyze every aspect of the school budgets. This will help find waste the findings can be reported to the public and the school board. The budgets cuts this year are bad but you can also take a look at next years proposed budgets (even worse).
